PCLY

PCLY is the Patchouli Knowledge appearing in Cookie☆OG, played by Yamin.

Despite having more lines and screen time than Yamin's other role Suika, PCLY becomes eclipsed by SIK as the main avatar of Yamin. Moreover, the main representation of the Patchouli role in Cookie☆ has later been taken over by Taisa, rendering PCLY an overall minor character in the subculture.

She is extremely rarely paired up with Taisa. In fact, her sprite is rarely used in BB Theaters and her lines barely used in MADs. Her most often used source is her finger snapping sound effect, which actually is quite common.

In the Voice Drama

PCLY has scenes from the Scarlet Devil Mansions scene up to the end. She tells Marisa to use the door instead of breaking in through the wall. She suspected that Marisa came to steal books again but Marisa informs her that Marisa wanted to make sweets for Alice.

She then waits for Alice, Marisa and Sakuya to get the ingredients to make cookies in the library. In this interaction, Patchouli remarks that Alice had the "look of death" on her face. She's being used to test whether the cookies are edible.

Fictional Portrayals

PCLY barely gets any attention in BB Theatres, but her snipping is often used in otoMADs as an audio sample.

An earlier connection that Patchouli Knowledge has with Reinoare is the mishearing of Billy Herrington's line "ATTEN-TION" as "Patchouli-UH!" or "Patchouli-GO!" As such, since Cookie☆'s association with Inmu, PCLY becomes the junction of the three major NicoNico subcultures of Gachimuchi, Touhou, and Inmu-Cookie☆.
