It's sweets, you drunkard! (お菓子よ！この酒飲みが！)
Sakenomi (lit. "the Drunkard") is an independent character born out of a chibified Reu from a scene of Cookie☆OG. Originally, it was a Neta for Reu born from the illustration "酒飲みRU" (posted by 魔神 on March 4, 2014), but the actual character was created out of the video "動く酒飲みRUBB" (posted by ケモ on June 29, 2014). On Nico Douga, she is treated as a small animal or pet, a mascot, or a helping spirit of Reu. An MMD model was created later.
Sakenomi Abuse
The term サケノミ虐待 /Sakenomi Abuse refers to abusing Sakenomi, which is depicted both on Nico Douga and Seiga. The tag is commonly abbreviated as "サケ虐" or "サ虐". This Neta was already around and attracting attention from when 酒飲みRU was posted (i.e. before Sakenomi was fleshed out as a character). The abbreviations were in use by around December 2014 for example in Seiga comments.[citation]. The depiction of abuse was already relatively common, as the Neta of Udzuki Abuse was much more common than Sakenomi Abuse around that time. This trend changed with the Sakenomi Abuse Collab announcement video by おいしいプラナリア兄貴 on March 29, 2018. This specific collab was a small revolution in the Cookie sphere in the following sense. Cookie collabs were already taking off from 2017 onwards, but only a smaller number were focussed on specific characters (e.g. Hisui, JOKER) -- never a specific theme like abuse of a character, yet alone showing such excessive gruesomeness in a collab. On Twitter, ロベルト・ギャップマン兄貴, MAD creator and Cookie artist, challenged opposition to everybody even slightly showing favorable attitude towards this collab by blocking them. Unfortunately, the more he rampaged, the more Sakenomi Abuse material was published and the Sakenomi Abuse collab garnered eight participants. Unannounced, a counter collab titled サケノミ愛護合作 (Sakenomi Cherish Collab) was posted on the same day the Abuse collab got published. This collab had [] participants and contered the other collab with themes of love and cherishment for Sakenomi. Both collabs succeeded in furnishing a certain vibe for themselves. In total, Sakenomi Abuse has established itself as a pro and contra feud-causing Neta.

As Sakenomi has firmly established itself as an independent character, Chibi-Reu interpreted as Reu is quite uncommon.
Further Discussion
- Since Sakenomi has a distinctive loveliness and ambiguous setting, she is often compared as the Cookie variant of Yukkuris (and their abuse).
- Sakenomi Abuse videos are highly likely to be deleted on YouTube if the 18+ setting is not enabled; probably because of the blood.
- There's quite an amount of pictures on Seiga showing Sakenomi and Hotaruda being used as an onahole, together with Jikomujun's video of Mugi using Hotaruda in this way.
Main Netas
See the main article for further information. She started just as a chibified version of Shinonome as an experiment, among many other remixes of other characters. However, since the artist and its artworks were all deleted, it is difficult to reconstruct the circumstances of the creation.
Reusan (レウサン)
A chibified Udzuki similar to Sakenomi. It's seen in artworks since around February 2015, usually helping out Sakenomi and Hotaruda.

BLLH is GOD
A variant of the "XX is GOD" construction, a Neta on Bilibili. This Neta is due to user 博丽灵蛤(Bó Lì Líng Há) setting their profile picture to Sakenomi.

クッキー☆静画のサケノミの絵にたびたび「かわいい カミツキガメと戦わせたい(ノンケ)」というコメントがつく。実際にカミツキガメと戦っているイラストも投稿された。
