Makota, also known as Fast-talking Aunt, is the voice actress of Yuuka Kazami, Remilia Scarlet, and Hong Meiling in the original Cookie☆. She is mainly identified with her Yuuka role, while her minor roles received limited developments as Cookie☆ characters as Ramenman and RMLA, respectively.

In the Voice Drama

Yuuka is the only clear "antagonist" of the voice drama, having confronted Marisa and Sakuya for the group invading her flower field while pursuing Mystia. Her scene was probably mainly just for adding a fight scene to the story and not much more.

In her brief scene, Yuuka's art style changed particularly frequently. This was due the artist responsible for the whole scene Kyou failing to meet the deadline, so that other artists had to make up for the artworks.

Most distinguished about Makota's performance as Yuuka is that she spoke her lines extremely fast, earning her the nickname "Fast-talking Aunt (Hayakuchi-obasan/早口おばさん)". "Aunt" is mainly a fan impression as Makota back then would be no older than her fellow VA Udzuki. Sometimes, Makota's speech would be deliberately sped up further to emphasise on her fastness. She is also known as the "electronic voice aunt (電子音おばさん)" because it was very difficult to remove the BGM of her voiced line segments, so that the audio materials always come with some electronic noice in the background. This fast-talking trait would later be parodied by Akira in Choco Heart☆.

Real Life Activities

Makota had been active as an artist and had known Hinase before they voiced in Cookie☆OG together. She was not an experienced voice actress but did her best with her three characters. Hinase would eventually inspire her to register for a Koebu account. She was one of the many voice actresses who accused Hazuna Rio of harassment as part of the Cookie☆ Controversy.

Makota has been a big fan of the Persona series, especially of Persona 3. She also enjoys Touhou and Higurashi.

On the internet, Makota was last seen in 2015 before quitting her online activities for unknown reasons.

Fictional Portrayals

Due to her overwhelming her opponents in the voice drama, Makota is usually a strong and dangerous character in BB theatres who fights using an umbrella. She thus becomes a rare instance where a Cookie☆ character retains both the strength and general fighting style of her Touhou origin. Cookie☆ fanworks may nevertheless make tweaks to her specific portrayals.

As Makota's most famous scene is her beating up Udzuki, her BB theatre portayal is also often sadistic. This, then, links Makota to the Inmu character Katsuragi Ren, also known as the Abusive Uncle, who in the famous fictional scene also served a sadistic role.

Makota's appearance bears a resemblence to the character Hikage from Senran Kagura. Sometimes people would also comment below Higake's appearances to call the character Fast-talking Aunt.
