Manatsu no Yo no Inmu, or simply Inmu, is the catch-all term for a Japanese meme subculture and underground Internet community revolving specifically around remixing and editing Japanese gay pornography. This subculture was formed around 2004 when Kazuhito Tadano, a Japanese baseball player, got embroiled in a massive sensationalized scandal after it was revealed that he starred in a pornographic tape years prior, named Manatsu no Yo no Inmu (and the namesake of the community). While the community only made remixes and videos around Tadano and his co-stars at first, eventually it evolved to encompass a massively large base of gay pornographic actors, videos, companies, and even media unrelated to gay porn in any way.
